UniBond League

The UniBond League this week announced its five nominations to represent the League in this season’s FA “Groundsman of the Year” competition.

Belper Town’s Phil Varney, who has been second and third nationally in the last two seasons, is again amongst the contenders and is joined by Elfed Morris who came second in the national awards last year in addition to winning the UniBond section.

Boston United’s Keith Crostan who narrowly missed out on selection last year makes it this time round together with Mark Freeman from Loughborough Dynamo and Trafford’s Graham Foxall.
