At a Football Association Tribunal held in Manchester this afternoon the long running saga of the transfer of James Hanson from Guiseley AFC to Bradford City was finally concluded.

The decision of the tribunal was that Guiseley should receive:

a) An immediate payment of a high four figure sum
b) The proceeds of a high profile pre-season friendly played between the two clubs.
c) 25% of any money that Bradford City receive as a result of James joining another club.

Whilst this is not all that Guiseley had hoped for in compensation for developing James into the player that he is proving to be at Bradford City. It is, non the less, an improvement on Bradford's final offer and all in all a fair compromise to amicably resolve the situation.
